We use the information you provide about yourself when seeking child care information or enrolling in Parent Central only to complete the process to enroll you in that service. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive information about early childhood development or parenting issues. Information you submit on our website will not be shared with any outside parties or used for purposes beyond what you have requested.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with public policy leaders. For example, we may tell a legislator that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits. Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration Guidelines.

In the event of violation of the Act, a civil action may be brought against the agency, company, or person involved when the violation concerns the design, development, or operation of a system of records on individual to accomplish an agency function, and criminal penalties may be imposed upon the officers or employees of the agency.
